“When one door closes, another one opens!” (Words similar to those quoted by Helen Keller)

People continue to tell me this lately, and I’ve come to believe it. I have reopened my art studio, and look forward to renewing an adventure in art!

Many who know me well, know that I am an artist of landscapes and portraits in a variety of medium.  In addition to over 16 years of service to nonprofit organizations in Sarasota, Florida, I have maintained a full art studio in my home.  Painting has allowed me the reward of time spent in nature depicting sights that astound me.  Scenes that so often with time, may become developed housing or community living spaces. 

As my husband, William, dog, Asia, and I travel around Florida visiting State Parks, I bring along the paint box and relax. 

These “relaxing moments” have been purchased by private collectors and sometimes vacationers like us right on the spot!  How fortunate I am to enjoy such devotion and to sell the pieces to others who appreciate the work! And thus, my renewed journey begins.  I’m painting daily, preparing for exhibitions, and offering art classes.  If this sounds like fun, read on and learn more about this exciting adventure!
